Haruyoshi Ono about Roberto Burle Marx and their longtime collaboration

Burle Marx Landscape Studio was founded by Roberto Burle Marx in 1955. After Roberto, Haruyoshi Ono - his business associate and creative partner for almost 30 years - continued his legacy for more than 20 years heading the Studio, becoming responsible for the creative development of new Office projects and gardens. This exhibition was possible because of his great work and support. We show here his last interview for a very well know architecture Brazilian program called “Casa Brasileira” (Brazilian House). Ono passed away in January 2017. Perpetuated the landscape artistic legacy of Roberto Burle Marx, having been responsible for the Landscape Studio and its collection for more than 20 years after Roberto’s death.
